There is a a lack of medicines and medical devices available for children with heart failure.
Very few technologies or medicines are specifically designed for kids. Because of this, kids are implanted with outdated technology or large adult medical devices, therefore not receiving the most up-to-date care. Some kids are simply too small and/or too sick, and have no options
ACTION wants to change this and is leading a collaboration to develop devices and medicines specifically designed for kids.
