This session is designed to help individuals living with Fontan circulation and their families better understand the Fontan circulation, potential long-term complications, and how care needs to evolve over time. Participants will learn about advanced therapy options that may be considered as health needs change, including ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation to support informed, confident conversations with their healthcare teams. Through expert clinical discussion and patient and family panels, the webinar will also offer practical guidance on communication, self-monitoring, and proactive care management to support daily quality of life and longer-term planning. This webinar will be Part 1 of a two part series.
